The Naples Forum on Service (NFS) is a biennial international conference that brings together scholars and practitioners to explore advancements in service research. Established in 2009, the forum focuses on three foundational pillars:
Each edition of the NFS is hosted in various picturesque locations within the Naples region, including Capri, Ischia, Sorrento, and Ravello. The forum serves as a collaborative platform where participants engage in discussions, presentations, and workshops to advance theoretical and practical knowledge in service research.
The forum encourages submissions that integrate its three pillars, welcoming theoretical and empirical research employing qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
In addition to the main conference, the NFS traditionally hosts a Doctoral Workshop preceding the forum to support PhD students in developing their research trajectories. The workshop includes keynote presentations and breakout sessions where doctoral candidates discuss their projects with experienced scholars. The next Doctoral Workshop is scheduled for June 9, 2025.
